Black Kids Travel believes that exploration is the foundation of freedom and that travel allows people to choose who they are. Our mission is centered on the ability to foster this freedom. One way we do so is by helping to eliminate financial barriers and providing access to our community. Would you like to apply for one of our scholarships yourself? Apply using our form below.

Sponsorship

BKT Scholarship for Study Abroad

Recipients shall be enrolled in or have been admitted to an American University.
Recipients must be enrolled in or have been admitted to a study abroad program offered through their current university.
Recipients must demonstrate financial need.
This scholarship shall be made available to undergraduate students.

BKT Passport Fund

Recipients must be a legal resident of the United States.
Recipients must be 10 years of age or older.

BKT Travel Scholarship

Recipients must have already applied to go on BKT hosted trip.
Recipients shall be over the age of 18.
This scholarship shall be made available to undergraduate students. This award may be renewed so long as recipients continue to meet stated criteria.
Recipients shall be participating in an international travel opportunity as determined by the administering authority.
